Clear Cooperation Policy 8.0: What its NOT.
Updated: Feb 12, 2021

What is it?
The MLS Clear Cooperation Statement 8.0 is a policy that requires listing brokers to input listing properties into the MLS within 1 day of any forms of public advertisement.
It is not:
It is not prohibiting coming soon listings: Coming Soon listings can still be advertised after the listing broker submit the SELM or MLS waiver form and input the property as “Coming Soon” in the MLS.
It is not prohibiting office exclusives: Office exclusive listings are still allowed under policy 8.0 as long as the marketing is directed toward agents under the same broker as the listing agent.
It is not forcing all listings to be syndicated to the internet: Coming Soon listings on the MLS are not published to 3rd party sites. Additionally, sellers and listing brokers can choose to opt out of 3rd party and virtual office websites by selecting “No to All Sites” during the listing input on the MLS.
