Real Estate Remains Unchanged Under Current Shelter-in-Place (Alameda County)

Procedures Regarding Real Estate Transactions Remain the Same in Alameda County and the City of Berkeley
From Bridge Association of Realtors®:
Please disregard unfounded rumors. Nothing has changed since last week.
"Real Estate Transaction" is on the list of allowed activities under the Current SIP Order in Alameda County.
The current orders in both Alameda County and the City of Berkeley rely on the State's Regional Stay at Home Order which lists "Real Estate Transaction" as a critical infrastructure activity.
Businesses on the State's Critical Infrastructure list are directed under the Current SIP Order as follows:
"d. Critical infrastructure sectors may operate and must continue to modify operations pursuant to the applicable sector guidance."
This is the same industry guidance that has been in place since July 2020.
